Gloria Petroni, Attorney at Law
Petroni & Nichols LTD
417 West Plumb Lane
Reno, NV 89509
There’s no question that Gloria Petroni knows Reno and Northern Nevada as well as anyone. She grew up on a farm in Yerington, Nevada. Her father had come to this country from Italy when he was 16 and could not even order a meal at a diner because he knew no English.
After earning her bachelors at the University of Nevada in… you won’t believe this… 1973, and then graduating with her J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in 1978, Gloria took off for Southern Florida where she received her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami in 1979. She was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in 1978.
How is that possible? I have no idea. All I can tell you is that she works out at least three times a week, and is into outdoor sports including wakeboarding, skiing, golfing and hiking. Gloria is in shape like twenty-somethings are in shape.
Gloria is passionate about helping homeowners and is just plain awesome to talk to. She knows what people are going through and she’s dedicated to helping homeowners make the best of what has been a very difficult situation for so many these last few years. I don’t know how else to put it… Gloria sincerely cares about her home state and the people of Nevada… and she makes life better for every one of her clients.
If you’re at risk of foreclosure, or need help with anything real estate or debt related, don’t even hesitate to call her… she’s very happy to help in any way she can. She can help with loan modifications or short sales, and with her LLM in Taxation, Gloria also has a solid foundation in all sorts of business matters. Plus, she’s been a practicing bankruptcy attorney since 2008… a graduate of Max Gardner’s Boot Camp, and it doesn’t get any better than that.
She’s a member of the Washoe County Bar Association, the State Bar of Nevada (Member: Bankruptcy Section, Trust and Probate Section, Family Law Section), the State Bar of California, the Nevada Women Lawyers Association, the Northern Nevada Bankruptcy Association, and the Nevada Estate Planning Council.
Gloria truly loves her work. She believes that every client is entitled to dignity and support from their law firm, and to feel safe… knowing that her firm is a place where confidential financial matters are protected in the highest manner. She thrives on finding solutions for her clients… takes the time to ascertain each client’s needs and desires… and explains the legal framework so they truly understand their options.
According to Gloria… “We have a law firm which functions as a team so that you are never alone once you have engaged our firm. We give you honest answers with thoughtful solutions for your individual needs. We help you in assessing your financial options and can answer questions about mortgages to rights of creditors to just about anything you’re experiencing as a result of the financial crisis.”
